Here's the lowdown on AerScout*:

• It's a new app for landscape photographers, basically a "one-stop shop" for all things weather-related.

• The creator was fed up with using multiple apps and paying for tons of subscriptions just to plan shoots, and there are none that offer features I feel are important for landscape shooters.

• Right now, AerScout gives you sunrise/sunset times, golden/blue hour times, and even tries to predict how good the sunrise/sunset will be.

• Future features include fog/mist predictions, sun and moon direction, AR for helping know when the sun/moon will be a specific place in the sky, plus features not available in any apps like fall color info, cloud inversions (maybe, it’s tricky), and reminders and notifications.

• The big picture is to make it the ultimate "Swiss Army Knife" for landscape photographers, and even help out astrophotographers in the future!

• Finally, I want to try to make it so that the key functionality can be completely free
